Drinking too much takes away your control, or at least your sense of control over your body. You couldn't control it because your brain told you that you couldn't. You're not going to die or anything, you just drank way too much.

-cough- maybe you shouldn't drink? - cough-

Your memory may not be accurate.

don't drink alcohol anymore and see if it happens again.

yes

thats why I dont drink anymore, what you think your doing on the inside is different than whats going on on the outside

You may have been allergic to what you were drinking

just a minor wake up call , scared you uh, moderation always

Sounds like it was affecting your nervous system. Better slow down. People die from alcohol poisoning all the time. You don't want to be another statistic!

it could be a muscle spasm or somesort of siezure, you should go to a doctor to be sure nothing serious is happening to you medically.

you need to stop drinking alcohol.

Prob just a nervous (nerve-related, not 'nervous') thing from the shock of that much alcohol.

How strange. When I'm drunk, the biggest problem I usually encounter is walking up the stairs.

Maybe it's a false memory?
Or maybe you should lay off the booze for awhile.

"what could this be and how dangerous is it? i have a feeling it has somethign to do with my brain." ok so what else did you do lol

Were you JUST drinking alcohol or were you also doing any sort of drug? Sometimes drugs can have this affect on people, and it is very dangerous.

alcohol can make u do a lot of things. and which alcohol you drink as well.

Do something before it is too late.
I know what I am talking about having lived with an alcoholic family member.

You could have died. If you've ever seen somebody pass out from drinking it's because the alcohol was affecting the part of the brain that would keep them awake.

If the part of your brain the controls your muscles, breathing and heart gets overloaded. Bye bye.

4 beers an hour is the average amount it takes to be legally drunk if you're an average height/weight male.

alcohol is really very bad for health, if u quit all ur problems will be solved.

I've never heard of this, but then again I'm no doctor. My thinking is it either may be psychological, like a nervous twitch or maybe your body is lacking nutrients needed like potassium. I'd recomend asking a doctor though.

Sounds like a seizure.
How much did you drink?

Yup......you are right. Folks seem to think they can pickle their brain cells and kill off a bunch, altering the ability for the brain to function, and everything is just wonderful!

But ya tell 'em and they think "you're old fashioned" , or too old to know anything. Just keep doin' it. Ask all your friends who I expect are college graduates with much more knowledge than you have. These days, "if it feels ok, it must be right".........

I'm being sarcastic at you and I shouldn't be. I've been saying the same things over and over and over again for such a long time. And folks act like they've never heard the information before in their lives, and even then, choose to ignore it.

A drink of alcohol never hurt anyone that I've known or read of
(unless, of course, you are allergic to it).

Two drinks even. Even with that amount, you are killing brain cells, but not so many that they couldn't replace themselves.

But to overwhelm the brain with the amount of alcohol that it takes to become "high", "buzz", not to mention plain drunk, will damage the brain cells sometimes to the point of irreparable damage, all in the name of .....fun?

If you survived long enough to wake up normal, I would suggest you take a lesson here.

Yes, alcohol can really do this........and more. If you wanna find out how much more, just keep doin' it, ok?

I am a Registered Nurse

It sounds like you should please lay off the booze for awhile. It sounds like you had W--A--Y too much last night. You were probably close to getting alcohol poisoning, which can kill a person.
Please, give your body a break, and consider-seriously-getting tested for allergies. In case there was something in what you drank you might be allergic to.
Anytime one drinks alcohol, one needs to eat a good, filling meal first, and limit amount of alcohol anyway. The meal and alcohol should be close together-so no empty stomach.
Take care.
