Zoloft is effecting my appetite?!

Question: I've been taking zoloft for almost 2 years now, and it's been going great. I have been having a really hard week. In addion to my hardships of depression and social anxiety, this asshole at my middle school was bullying me. I'm taking more now, and it has been effecting my appetite. I am not hungry at all. I don't eat my lunch. I have to force my self to eat at dinner. My stomach hurts really badly. What's going on? What should I do?
Thanks every one!

Appetite loss is a common side effect for most anti-depressants. There are others out there and it sounds like the dosage is either too high for you or doesn't agree with your body's chemistry...

Since it seems to be seriously affecting your appetite, it might be best to talk to your doctor and see if there's another option! Maybe a different medication that would work better for you, or a different dosage.

See your doctor. Sounds like he needs to adjust your dosage.

Go back and see your doctor.

I'd ask your DR about it... Maybe your dosage is too high? Or maybe your body is still getting adjusted to the new dosage...When did it get increased? How much are you taking? All of those things could have an effect on the way Zoloft works in your body.
