Mosquito bite or pink eye?!

Question: Last night, i remember being half-asleep with a really itchy eye. I recall seeing a mosquito which also bit my forehead.

Well, i woke up this morning and my whole right eye was swollen. And i was wondering if this is either pink eye or a mosquito bite. I am notorious for touching my eyes with dirty hands, so maybe today it decided to infect. i don't know.

My eyes aren't watery, no discharge, but a mild itch.
What do you think it is?

Most likely a bug bite. Don't put any type of cream on your eye. Cold cloths with relieve the itch. Don't scratch. Should be gone in a day or two. If there is any oozing or crusty buildup seek medical care. Other than that, please try to keep your hands away from eyes, nose and mouth to avoid spreading germs and causing infections. Wash hands frequently.

If the eyeball (white of your eye) itself is red, it's probably pinkeye. Otherwise it's probably a mosquito bite.

pink eye!

Not pink eye..... probably the mosquito...

It sounds like a mosquito bite rather than pink eye. I suggest you refrain from using any type of eye makeup. Don't touch it it will only worsen. Touching or rubbing your eyes leads to damage in the film which can lead to astigmatism. Never rub them when wearing contacts!

sounds like a mozzy bite.
