Would you consider a boy gets drunk every Friday and Saturday night to be an alc!

Question: He gets drunk every Friday and Saturday night. Do you think he is an alcoholic?

Answers: He gets drunk every Friday and Saturday night. Do you think he is an alcoholic?

I don't know if he is an alcoholic yet or yet, but if he continues to drink at this rate, he will soon be addicted to this alcohol, and he will be drinking every day or at least be a weekend drunk. He is also destroying his health. It is dangerous for him to be drinking like this. Please try to get help for this person if it is not you and if it is you, get help. If you can stop it yourself, please do so now and find something that is entertaining without drinking. There are many things just as fun without booze. I know. I used to drink, but I don't any more. I find that I have just as much fun without the booze as I did when I drank. MOre really. I know everything that is going on. I can walk and talk and remember everything that happened the next morning. I love to go to things where the kids can go to now and it is so much more fun if everyone can go. It would have been nice if I had not gone through that period of my life, for I lost a lot of wonderful time that I could have used more wisely. I then lost a deal of time to cancer, so I think that it was just as bad as the cancer to me.

no, but it could easily turn into that

If he couldn't concieve of a friday or saturday night without getting drunk, then yes

Probably, and if not, then definitely in real danger of becoming one.
Problem with alcohol is that the more you drink, the more you want, and the more you want the buzz that goes along with it. It can creep up on you subtly, while you are unaware.
An interesting thing would be to find out if the young man has any ancestors, including Mom or Dad, who have had a problem with alcohol.

It's not about frequency, it's about the consequences. Does he act like a jerk? Does he get arrested? Is he having problems with health/job? Does he need alcohol to feel good? To have a good time?
Those are the indicators of alcoholism.
