UTI help please?!

Question: I have recently finished a course of antibiotics for a mild UTI. I still drink the recommended amount of water (if not more) a day and take cranberry pills because I don't like the taste of cranberry juice. Last night I noticed the burning sensation again and I had a fever. What are the chances of that the UTI is back?

(I'm intending to see a doctor, I just don't want to if it's not an actual UTI and there's nothing they can do to help me)

Some people, like myself are very susceptible to UTI's. It is possible you got another one. If you keep getting them, they will probably refer you to a urologist. I suggest going back to the doctor, and I'm really sorry because I know how bad they suck!

Ask your doc if you could have IC... it is a bladder problem that feels like a bladder infection but isn't anda whole different set of meds is needed for it.

Ya know. Why ask if you are going to be smart to everyone who asked?

i have had regular UTI and find them painfull but have never had a fever. could you of a had an sti that has caused pelvic inflammatory disease im not saying it deff is but this can cause a fever, see your doctor as soon as possilbe jus to be on the safe side.

if you produced a sample for the last infection you were prob given the correct antibiotics, and it depends on how long the course was 5 or 7 days it could be a very nasty infection you would still be getting high temperatures
