How long to you have to wait for a ct scan on the NHS Roughly?!

Question: It depends on the degree of urgency your GP has given to the request and the area you live in, which affects the availability of scanning.

Answers: It depends on the degree of urgency your GP has given to the request and the area you live in, which affects the availability of scanning.

It depend on the type of scan and what it is for - if it is not life threatening then you may wait a few weeks.

I only waited 3 days.

Probably too long when you are in a queue of free loaders from other countries!

Don`t know.....but my dad died of a brain tumour....before he got one

Stroke or cancer in South West UK about three weeks.
Other reasons about 6 weeks.

It depends where in the UK you are. Here in South London it was about 4 months for me to have one - non life threatening. Meanwhile my friend in Manchester had to wait 10 months so it depends where you are and what it's for.
