Is this a normal high from weed?!

Question: I've smoked weed about four times, and the same thing happens every time.. a few minutes after smoking everyone else is always mellow and laughing but my high seems out of body. everything I do (like driving) is subconcious and my mind never comprehends anything, everything is surreal, and I'm just completely out of it.. my body gets numb and i start to shake.. this lasts about two hours.. everyone around me always thinks its crazy.. is this normal for anyone else? or does anyone know why this happens..?!

in the first place u shouldnt be driving while ur high, but feeling numb, and things being surreal, yes thats pretty normal, but the shaking, that does sound a little odd. are u shakiing because ur cold. because i use to get very cold, but that went away.
i would say u are smoking to much. i dont ever smoke as much as everybody else. even if we are setting around or even on a daily or monthly basics.
i smoke, maybe 2 times a month, and when i do smoke everyone else does 3 or 4 hits and im a 2 hit girl.
just take it slow, and see how ur body and mine feels then.
if u still dont like what u feel, then just dont do it, its not for everyone u know.

DUDE!!!!! YOUR STONED!!!

Ah tsk, tsk. Drugs. : *
And to answer your question, your body reactions to drugs in different ways. Apparently, yours specifically reacts differently.
(Say for instance cocaine: some people get really cold, some get really hot. Even pills like Redlin, which can make you high-like if not prescribed properly, have different effects on people. For me, even five do nothing and I do not have ADD. Everyone else I know, one makes them really happy.)
In short, yes it is normal.

nah its not normal you is just a weed pussymanga.....let me guess two beers and i'm piss*n myself when drivin hahhhhhhh

thats watcha call stoned.

wow that suckss for you. Getting high just calms me down and gets me like relaxed and stuff. In my opinion you might not be getting high your mind in probably playing tricks on you. You should either stop trying to smoke weed or try different methods. Like if you use a bong then try a blunt. It might make a difference.

I really hope you're kidding about driving while you're high. You could kill yourself or someone else. You could get pulled over for a DWI and spend a lot of time in jail and ruin your life.

In answer to your question, that's not a normal reaction to marijuana. Some people react badly to certain substances. If you're not enjoying the high, I'd recommend you don't use it again. Or maybe your "friends" are spiking your weed with LSD or another hallucinogen.

There are much better ways to get "high" while you're sober. Try hang-gliding or scuba diving or something else to have fun rather than just getting wasted.

Haven't toked in years, but what you describe sounds fairly common, except for the shaking. That sounds pretty unpleasant, possibly dangerous. You may be allergic. In any event, don't do it if it makes you feel bad and you don't enjoy it. Just because "everyone else" is getting high doesn't mean you need to. It's not your thing, no shame in that.

yo your just stoned. thats what getting really high is like. once you do it a few more times youll be more tolerant so dont worry about it.
