I have done meth for two weeks after hanging w the wrong crowd. Do i need rehab?!

Question: I tried it for my first time, and then have done it off and on for two weeks. Can I stop on my own, or do I need rehab? My friend insists I do. I don't, but wonder if I can stop before its too late. I stand up and start to do something, or if I am walking around I start to feel a tightness in my chest and have to breath slow or I feel like I will pass out. Should I worry?

This is really a subjective question, but I can with almost certainty that you do not. Quite frankly experimenting with a drug (even one as bad as meth) does not warrant treatment. When it gets to the point where your smoking or slamming a quarter gram just to get out of bed in the morning, everything your earning/stealing goes to obtaining the drug, and your life is falling down around you (hopefully it does not get this far)...then its time to consider treatment. Rehab isn't just some place you can go and be cured, its a place you go to be away from your environment and they help give you the tools to succeed, really it pretty much comes down to you and wanting sobriety bad enough to put the work in.

yea stop immediately

Yes, you should worry. Do you know what that garbage is made out of? As for rehab, if you find yourself craving it, then you need rehab. Stay away from your so-called "friends" who introduced you to this life-altering addiction.

Go to a clinic and a Doctor will help you with the anxiety Please don't do drugs I am not a bleeding heart or a wimp but I have seen what drugs does to our family and I wouldn't wish it on yours
As for the wrong people? You got it!!

Yes you should worry, but there is a cure for stupidity. The fact that you're asking this question means that you know it's wrong and that you need to quit immediately. Make an appointment with your family physician and be honest with the doctor. Let them make sure you're okay physically, and they can refer you to a rehab clinic and counseling.
