Getting a full body Cat Scan any advice? Please answer all Q's?!
Question: 1. How long does it take?
2. Do you have to be naked?
3. Is that Redi Cat stuff gross
4. Do you get diharrea from it?
5. Do you get to listen to music or just the machiene banging?
6. is it really tiny in there?

2 no you wear a gown
3every ones different(i say yea its pretty gross!don't look or smell it while drinking,it just made it tougher for me.

6 it is a tight space if your claustrophobic( I am)
I have to have an "open sided" scan it's MUCH better and easier to deal with.

6.yes,i am claustrophobic so i wasn't that happy.
1) About a couple of minutes (Your radiation exposure is kept to a minimum)
2) No, basically strip down to underwear and put on some hospital gowns

4) With any contrasting agents you might be allergic to it, but most aren't

6) It can be claustrophobic.
Just to add to Marc Q's #6 - when they start towards you head, you can always do what I did and just close your eyes and pretend to be somewhere else
