Is hydrocortisone an antihistemine?!
Question: I put it on my ant bites last night and i am allergic to antihistemines and i had a reaction.
i was wondering if it was an antihistemine or not?
is it? so i know not to use it tonight...because i have over 46 ant bites and i need to know what i should put on them

It is not an antihistamine, if you are talking about the cream it is a steroidal cream that acts as an anti itch and anti inflammatory.
Another option you can try is calamine lotion
Also ants inject formic acid into you when they bite so you can try baking soda paste to try and neutralize the acid. Calamine Lotion worked very well for me and its not an antihistamine.
