I dred getting up in the morning [for school]?!


Question: ok everyday its time 2 get up for school
i hate it
everytime its time 2 get up im always so tired
yesterday i got just over 11hrs of sleep
11HR OF SLEEP!!!
n i still dreded it
i want 2 b happy when i got 2 school but thats hard
i used 2 b like that when i was going 2 elementary school n such
every @ my school seems 2 like to enjoy being at school
but 2 tell u the truth each day and year i hate school even more
even when i think i cant hate it more
it happens
so someone plz giv me some advice on how 2 b more happy when i go 2 school
*DNT TELL ME 2 FAKE IT!!!!!

too much sleep is also bad... you should shoot for 7-9 hours... 11 is too much and may make you feel crappy.

Get out of bed a little earlier and enjoy your breakfast - don't think about getting up FOR SCHOOL... just get up to get up and eat, shower, etc... relax some of the time - look outside and watch the weather, animals, people... whatever - do what you enjoy. THEN start thinking about going to school... You don't want to get up because you dread school..... going to school can suck... but hey, its not that bad is it?? I hated it all my life...
Worst thing you can do is set an alarm and repeatedly hit the snooze button - if you do that - STOP IT... you are not getting more sleep and you are giving yourself more BAD awake time to dread getting up :)

Maybe find a friend to chat with before school and look forward to meeting them in the morning on the way to school....

it ain't that bad... you just need to try to adjust your attitude and make the morning about you and NOT school :)

get better frends... frends make school cool....
so that u can pass notes and talk in class... and hav fun at recess!!

haha that sounds gay right? but watever im pretty sure thats a first step to take

maybe you have mononeucleosis which would last for months even with proper medication.
Unless you are having problems that you aren't prepared to deal with either at school or with your social life. Hard to tell.

When I am not looking forward to something I look at the worst case scenario. Here is an example...prior to an activity I dread I think, what would it be like if I weren't in a position to be given the opportunity to go to school, excercise...whatever imagine you were paralyzed, lying in a hospital bed not able to move after a car accident. You would give anything to have the ability to do what you once dreaded. (I fell off of a horse the same day Christopher Reeve did and only suffered a broken wrist and a bruised ego and to this day I remember how depressed I was and realized then that we are lucky to be able to what we physically can)

Take advantage of your abilities, don't dwell on your disability.

You hate getting up? You wouldn't if you couldn't..
You would do what you could to get up! Are you understanding what I mean? Hang in there.
Excercise does wonders for your brain as well as your energy.
Eat right, take care of yourself and live your life.
