Splitting friggin headache!! What medicine is best?!
Question: I'm going to run to the drug store at lunch, because I have this horrible headache. I've never used anything besides Advil, so which of those fast acting super headache pills is best?

They're all pretty much the same. Excedrin has caffeine added, though, which helps relieve your headache through the blood vessels. One thing that has worked with me is to take two 500mg pills of Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and 800 mg of Ibuprofen (usually four 200mg pills.) They can both be taken at the same time, and always take care of my migraines. If you are sensitive to Ibuprofen (which you probably aren't because Advil is Ibuprofen) take it with a glass of milk. The best thing I've found for my migrains is 800mg of ibuprofin. They only come in 200mg. tabs so I take 4. Then i drink a coke or cup or two of coffee because the ibuprofin with caffein gets the job done.
