Kid who sits next to me NEVER wears deodorant. Help?!

Question: In my afternoon classes, a kid who sits next to me, my partner, comes from 6th period gym to 7th period algebra.

He never changes out of his sweaty, smelly gym clothes when he comes to algebra. He never wears deordorant, or body spray and he sweats A LOT. He's always all moist and smelly and it's gross.

The worst part is that he raises his hand a lot, so I always about pass out whenever he does.

I've asked him to wear deodorant,or something but his mom said that she doesn't let him. ('m thinking of murdering the mom...) I've asked the teacher to switch seats but all the seats were taken and I have to sit up front because I have a slight hearing problem, so I can't change seats.

I also can't change classes because I'm too far into the school year.

I've also talked to my teachers about this FOUR times, and they talked to him about this but he never listens to them

Please help before I have to suffocate again tomorrow?

when he's not looking, spray him with body spray
buy him some deodorant
dont look at him

i have the same problem with a guy who is really disgusting sitting next to me, he has really bad acne and he always picks it off =[ we have to suffer through it unless we wanna take the mean approach =]

go to the guidance counsellor or the principal. or have your mom complain. no one should have to sit thru that!!

buy him deoderant!

tell the teacher that he smells and ask to move seats

Tell your parents. If it was my kid with your problem, you better believe I'd get it handled. Tell them its affecting your schoolwork.

Have your mom go up to the school and complain to the principles about it. Then, have her buy him some right guard to keep in his locker. Also, if you have a bit of extra money, ask your mom to buy him a pair of gym pants and a white t-shirt.

I had this happen with about the same situation, and it was just that the mom was out of a job and they didn't have any income coming in. Doing this helped tremendously!

It doesn't sound like he takes suggestions--do you have a school nurse?? They are usually a little more perceptive to these kinds of problems.

There is a product on the market that is actually a salt rock. It has no harmful ingredients and you can purchase it at a health food store for a reasonable cost. This product is dampened and rolled under the arms, and totally stops odor. Perhaps you could purchase the product, and give it to your "friend" and he may even keep it in his locker. His mother probably won't mind him using salt.:)

Even if mom won't let him use deodorant at home, he should use it once he gets into school, especially when he comes out of gym class. It sounds like he doesn't shower once done with gym and if he is coming into class in his sweaty gym clothes, there is a problem at home. I agree with the others.....go to your counselor or the principal and complain loud and long about this. Maybe have your mom or dad call the school and complain on your behalf. Having to smell skanky BO for a whole hour would be stomach turning.

lol, "buy him deoderant!"

humhumhummmm

idk, buy some deodorant, then force it on him during class, like arggggg>:[]
