Itchy legs.?!

Question: I get itchy legs most evenings and is alot worse when I am in bed.? I have had this for about 14 years and I have had blood tests which have shown nothing and my GP doesnt seem worried about it and Ive been offered no explanation for it.? My GP isnt the best in the world either.? I dont wear pyjamas to bed, I use plain unperfumed soap because I have acne aswell.? This doesnt just happen in bed, it can happen before I go to bed to so it cant be the material of the sheets.? There is no rash or anything to see although I do occasionally get a small pimple which itches like mad, but it doesnt have a head or any puss, its just a plain pimple.? Does anyone know what this could be? I do know that extreme itching can be a sign of something serious but I have no idea what it could be.

Aloe Vera cream might help.
My husband suffers from itchy legs without any obvious cause - I've changed washing powders a couple of times (always use non-biological anyway) and nothing seems to stop it. Aloe Vera Gel is the best relief he has come across so far - he buys it at Holland & Barratt.
It also helps not to bath or shower every day he finds (he doesn't use soap or shower gel on his legs anyway) so it could just be that the constant washing was drying out his skin too much.

it's probably psychosomatic - meaning that the itchiness is a result of a mental problem.

i have started to get an itchy part on my leg - just above my calf muscle on my left leg - it really itches. i put it down to having a crap life full of worry

life is all but suffering as the buddha would say

I suffer from this as well. Not every night but usually when i've been at work. I do have sensitive skin and we have bad reactions in end up with really bad hives. Is there anything you use during the day that could cause a mild reaction? in my case its the sanatiser I have to use at work. I too have had very little help from the doctors and any time i've had a bad reaction i'm just told to take anti histamins which help. You could be sufferering from something total different but hope this helps
