I know i was stupid but...?!
Question: ok, so i know this is stupid and i won't do it again BUT i took one of my friend's sleeping pills (zoplicone) last night to see what it was like and i went to sleep no problems. my doc put me on amitriptilyne to help me sleep and it works good but i just wanted to see what my friend's sleeping pill was like and so now i know BUT i am getting very depressed today =( i am on prozac 20mg and i take amitriptilyne 10mg at night. (sorry i can't spell the other antidepressant) i'm not suicidal, just having "weird" thoughts today. this should pass right?

ITs a short acting sedative, you will be fine in a couple of hours, drink plenty of water & exercise
The best thing to do would be to call your doctor, and tell him or her what pill it was that you took and see what kind of side effects it has with your current medication. Or even check with your local pharmacy.
Is it bad to have 'weird' thoughts? try exploring them, it may have started some creative activity in your brain. Maybe it's good.
You'll be ok. You're not stupid by the way. We all do things like that! I think you should expect to feel a bit crap until tomorrow morning or maybe later on today. Hope you're feeling better soon x
You silly billy. See how you feel and if nothing happens then learn your lesson and don't take any other medication unless prescribed for you by your G.P.
If anything causes you concern then go straight to your doc or a&e.

You should be ok, but we are not professionals and every individual can react to medication differently. To be on the safe side call your doctor, and tell him or her what pill it was that you took and see what kind of side effects it has with your current medication. They should be able to tell you if your will be ok. Or even check with your local pharmacy.
It will pass. Doctor gave me a course of them to take, after 3 nights I began to have nightmares. When jogging I felt muscle siezure in my legs. Stopped immediately the zoplicone but it took a few days to recover.
Try googling zoplicone - and check side-effects. Its frightning
Yes dont do it again,,,i gave someone a couple of Vertigo,,,tablets,,,but afterwards i thought ,,if anything would of happened to them,,,i would have been in trouble,,,,,
yes, it will leave and you will be back to normal. I would'nt do it again though. It may not leave the next time. Take Care.
