Help! I took a tablespoon instead of teaspoon?!
Question: I was prescribed Cheratussin AC Syrup. It's GUAIFENESIN, and CODEINE. It says to take one teaspoon, and I wasn't paying attention. should I just call poison control, and ask them? I don't feel sick at my stomach or anything.

You'll be fine. You took a triple dose. I wouldn't make it a habit, though. :p

Drink water to dilute it, but you will probably be fine. If you are worried, make the call to poison control anyway. They will tell you what to do. Don't throw it up or drink milk on it until they tell you if that's what is necessary.

I'm on the same stuff actually - I think you will probably sleep it off shortly - because one teaspoon knocks me on my tushie.
Taking more than prescribed can be fun. I say run with it :) You would have to drink a lot before it would hurt you. Have fun and be careful.
