Yes, THC is detectable in the blood. However, unless they are specifically looking for it, its unlikely they will find it. Ahem. In my younger years, *looks guilty* I had to have a cholesterol test done, and had similar fears. My doctor never said a word, so I assume they didn't notice. I believe a cholesterol test is done by a machine, which is only looking for cholesterol levels, nothing else. So you should be fine.

THC cannot be detected in the blood.

It can be in your blood. Lol.

idk for sure
i do that stuff to but i ve never been drug tested

They won't catch it, if they aren't looking for it. Relax

Everything can be tested via taking a blood sample

They would have to run a special test for DRUGS

Maybe you should stop doing drugs since it is obvious that it makes you paranoid and non functional

if they are checking just for cholesterol, no weed will turn up. different tests are done on blood to determine different results.

its true that THC is in your blood but for only like 3 days
also if they are checking cholesterol they wont be checking for THC so your fine.

It can be detected but if they are not testing specifically for that it should be fine. Drug tests cost so unless your dad requests it and pays they are not gonna test just becouse, they are not gonna do anything free.

Each test must be specifically ordered. If they are not testing for drugs, it will not be detected.

To find anything in the blood they have to be looking for that particular thing-so if they are testinmg for only one thing-no it wont show up but if they are going to be testing for "everything" then of course it will show up

they will be doing a cholesterol test that is all they are looking at

I hope so.

If they're not looking for it they won't find it. Drug tests aren't free you know.

If you want to have your cholesterol checked then that is what will be checked. They will not detect the marijuana unless the run a drug screen for it. They dont just look for drugs in every blood test they get.

sure can .. sorry.about it man

They have to be looking for it and have reason to look for it so don't worry...

They will be looking at your cholesterol. Marijuana has to be specifically tested by THC levels. So, no they will not detect Marijuana in the blood work they will be testing you for. They would have no need or reason at all to test you for TCH. You have no need to worry or to need divulge this.

Your okay man, 1st of all they can't test you for drugs without your prior consent. 2nd of all they have to run a specific test for THC and other drugs. Your cholesterol test won't go into anything drug related.

No it can't. It can be detected if your blood is being specifically tested for it, depending on how long ago you last smoked marijuana. Usually waiting up to a week between smoking & the having the blood drawn is safest, but that is only IF you are having a drug test done. However, each possible blood test is done seperately & each costs money, so blood is never tested for "everything", only the thing (or things) they are looking for, so if you are only having a cholesterol test then there is no way they will be able to see that you have been smoking pot. Usually there is a sheet of paper which the doctor will fill out which says which tests are being done on your blood, which they give to you to give to the lab that draws the blood, so you can actually look at it & see which tests they are doing (however it will be in weird medical language, but it's pretty easy to see if "THC" is on the list). One thing that does sound weird is that they would be giving you & your siblings cholesterol tests, as it is rare for young people to have high cholesterol, even if it is hereditary. So it makes me wonder if perhaps it is a cover for your dad to secretly give you drug tests? Do you think he suspects anything? I don't mean to make you worry, & if he were going to do that he could just as easily purchase a urine drug test & say it's for something else... Maybe you should ask for more details, are they actually testing for high cholesterol or some sort of genetic marker that you may have it in the future? And make sure to ask to see the paper with the list of what you are being tested for.
