Question: my right ear has been hurting for a few days and also the areas around it , i use the earphones for like an hour in a day but if it is because of that why will only one ear hurt?

sounds like u have an ear infection. thats why it hurts around the area of the ear too
it might that the ear piece that u r using might hav hard surface which causes the pain and also it might be that u may be infected with infection
It does sound like you have an ear infection hun ? please go and consult your family doc about this one as if it is an infection and you let it go it could get nasty ?

You might have otitis media ( middle ear infections) in that ear. It's possible to get it that way. Make sure, nobody uses your ear phones. And make sure you always keep it clean and alcohol before using it. Another cause might be water trapped during showers. You might also have Strep throat and the ear might get affected. It might be the residue of a cold or the flu. or the build-up of wax causing an infection.
