Well,...I broke my diet...... :(...?!

Question: I'm 16, 5'6 and weight about 130. I lost 10 lbs. For the past 1 1/2 weeks I only at around 1460 calories per day and exercised 6 days per week for 25-30 minutes. But about an hour ago I just got so hungry so I ate a bunch of extra calories. (They were tuna, peanut butter, wheat crackers and pineapple) But I feel kind of bad with myself for breaking my diet like that, does anyone think that it will make a difference on the scale when I get back on my diet tomorrow?

So, you blew it for one day. It's okay. Just get back on it tomorrow. It won't make a huge difference.

You're 5'6" and you weigh 130. You're technically underweight (assuming you have a medium frame).

You shouldn't be on a "diet", but simply eating healthy foods, which looks like you do already.

You don't need to lose any weight (you may need to gain some muscle though)

It's not the calories that make people fat. The most fattening item in your list was the wheat crackers. You could eat tuna 'till it's coming out your ears and never gain a pound.

uhhh...why would you want to go on a diet???

you are a little udnerweight for your height.
especially at your age, you are really doing a dangerous
thing toyour body.

in da 1st place, weighing urself once a week is enough...since you already feel bad, use this as an inspiration to be more strict with your food intake in future..trust me, i have been in your shoes many times lately!
