My BMD T-score is .5, what does this mean? Good?!

Question: Im a 21 year old male

Answers: Im a 21 year old male

Your T score is what your deviation is in your Bone Mineral Density test. The deviation is what your score is compared to that of a healthy 30 year old. If your score is a plus, it means your bones are stronger than an average 30 year old, if minus, it means they are weaker. If your score is a +.5, it means you have stronger bones, which you should at age 21.
