I think that alcohol impares driving more than marijuana. How many people have vehicle accidents while under the influence of marijuana compared to alcohol?
YES!, as a former teenage pothead, the only time i drove while stoned, i could have sworn i was driving about 60mph in a 35 zone. I keep hitting the brakes to slow down, didn't want to get nailed for speeding. I got pulled over for driving 8mph. Pot does affect your sense of speed, time, depth precetion, motor skill & slows your reaction time. If pot was legal, i'd still be smoking it, just w/o the driving.
It makes you unable to get off the couch, put down the chips, and find the keys. So marijuana impares the user's ability to get to the car.
