Can you clean your medical record?!

Question: If one breaks an arm, and then heals, one can get a diagnosis from a doctor stating that the arm is Ok, and can return to normal function. Can doctors/psychologits do this with depression or anxiety? These are not chronic. Can a psychologist write a diagnosis saying your mental health is fine?

All medical history is relative. If you break your arm when you were 5 people still need to know that it was broken. Even though the arm has healed fully you can still see evidence of it being broken (X-ray and such). It is even more important that a mental health history is current and complete. If you were diagnosed with anxiety and depression this is part of your history. Just because something is part of your history does not mean that it is relative to who you are now. History is history and your medical record is your health history. There is nothing you can do to change your history but your mental health may be fine now and that is what matters.

Clean your medical record with rubbing alcohol and wipe with a outward sweep, straight to the edge, repeat all the way around the record.
If it is only dusty, then use feather duster.

For your final question, I do not see why they can't

Yes infact I'm sure thats what they do... speak with your doctor for confirmation though.

ALTHOUGH your record will always say what you suffered from incase its ever needed for future reference.
