Question: So I had a wisdom tooth removed and they gave me a perscription for tylenol with codine..can you guys tell me the affects? i hear it is addictive?

So they gave you tylenol 3's. It can be addictive if you take them all the time . I'm sure he didn't give you very much of them, so you should be fine. People can get addicted to anything really. Some who get addicted to stuff like pain killers are people who take them for chronic pain, such as from surgery, or other chronic things that they end up with a dependancy on these pills and become addicted. However if you follow your doctors advice and never take them to get high, just for pain and stop taking them when you are healed,t hen you will be fine.
you wont be on it long enouf to get addicted, side effects can be nausea, dry mouth sleepiness. dont operate machinery or make major decisions while taking this medicine.
