Does anyone have CHF here?!
Question: My dad is 71 years old. He has CHF and im 16 years old. His EF was 25 from when he got out of the hospital. He went into the hospital because his lungs filled up, and then 2 weeks later he was rushed back because he filled up. The doctors figured it was because he wasnt taking his meds. And I can sorta remember because he would take his insulin shot but I never saw him take his pills. Some of his pills were out but he couldnt fill them because he couldnt afford them so he was trying to wait until payday.
He was weighing himself everyday, but yesterday he was tired and sorta winded. Today hes tired again. And said some "I SWORE I SAW UR MOTHER OUT IN THE KITCHEN" and then he laughs it off saying "i said that just to get to you" and he was trying to hide it lol
I dont think he weighed himself today but he said his ankles were not swolen. But his problem is that he fills up in the lungs. I already know all about CHF, I just want to know if you can get fatiqued days.

I have CHF. I am 39 years old. It is VERY important for him to limit his fluid intake and limit his sodium (salt) intake.
I take water pills-Lasix. I pee alot too. If I don't take it- I get very tired and I swell up in the ankles and cannot breathe. I have Diabetes too. I know what he is going through-the poor man.
