Why do I have a bump in my pubic area?????!
Question: i just noticed that i have a bump in my pubic area. i dont think it's from an ingrown hair because it does not hurt to the touch or anything like that. it sort of large and i think it's underneath my skin. what is it?? i dont want to tell my mom because all she's going to do is make up some ecuse and blow it off, but i'm afraid it might be something serious.

it is probably a boil or a hair follic infection dont worry it'll most likely go away on its own ive had them before it happens sometimes after you shave wax or pluck or sometimes for no reason at all
Herpies? I dont know I think you should tell your mom.Moms usually understand if she dosent you can walk in to an ER and they will help you. Even if you have no insurance.
Hold warm packs on it a few times a day if there is something under the skin this will help bring it up.
Are you sexually active? IF so then you might want to get checked.
It could be an ingrown hair because it doesn't have to hurt. They can be larger. This is usually the case.

It should go away or decrease in size. If it doesn't go away in a week maybe see a doctor.
