Extremely emotiaonal and cant stop eating!! What is wrong with me?!?!

To answer this properly I would have to talk to you one on one.

But for now I can try. You need to ask yourself a few things... by your name I take it that you are a girl. Is it period time? Or Could you be pregnant? Have you lost someone or something close to you recently? Boyfriend/Spouse problems? Problems with money, kids, work, school?

People get emotional and tend to over eat for many reasons. I named a few to help you out. Here is what you need to do: Go into your room, lights out, TV off and make sure you are alone. Get a Walkman or turn on your stereo to whatever music makes you happy. Not happy jumpy just happy peaceful. Like Newage, Trance, Techno, Soft, Smooth jazz... whatever. Lay in bed with your eyes closed and picture all of the things that are going on in your life. If you feel like crying then allow yourself to cry. If you want to laugh then do it... whatever feeling you have then do it as long as you are doing it from the bed and you are not hurting yourself with food or any objects. If you are alone in the house and you feel anger, grab a pillow when you come to your thought that makes you upset and scream into it. It helps to release anything negative in your mind and will help you to be more peaceful with yourself. After that if you have a friend you can talk to do it... if you dont wish to speak with someone you know then message someone just out of the blue. You could end up making a wonderful friend and finding yourself along the way. Good luck to you Hun! You will be okay!

Are you depressed? Is is close to your period time? If your period is near your could be suffering from PMS. If it is depression, then you are a person who uses eating as a way to comfort your self to calm your depressive moods. I would seek some professional assistance in helping to deal with this issue if this is the case. If you continue to use food for comfort you may have weight issues if it begins to get out of control later on down the road. If it is PMS related, it will go away once your period comes... you didn't give too much details as to what is causing you to be emotional so I'm throwing out 2 main scenarios, I hope this helps. Oh, emotional eating is the worst! Honey, have a good cry! Its therapeudic. When you have let the emotions out you always feel better.
You could have a hormone imbalance and this could be causing your problem. (I used to cry when the laundry smelled good.) How long have you felt this way? Days? Weeks? Months?(I hope not months). Anyway, its nothing to be ashamed of as lots of people get emotional and dont know why. If it has been about a week and it isnt pms I would suggest seing a doctor to get the hormones leveled out. Truly it isnt anything to be embarrassed about. Also, if you go to see your doctor (your regulare MD can help) be completely honest with them. They will ask a lot of personal questions, get a serious look on their faces, and then tell you what they can do to help you. If you arent sure of what they are doing make sure you ask your own questions. Hugs!
