Consuming 12 000 mg of paracetamol ?!
Question: if someone consumed 12 000 mg of paracetamol would this be enough to kill them or what would it do?

It depends on the liver, some people die earlier than others, but the final result is death if without medical intervention. You are saying 12,000 mg, so 24 pills of 500 mg paracetamol and the recommended dose is 8 per day!
Basically, in the ER setting, we would administer N-acetylcysteine, which would help accelerate paracetamol breakdown and we intubate and drain the stomach and/or administer activated charcoal in the stomach to neutralize the remaining paracetamol in the GIT before it is absorbed.
whoa! that's way too much. I think the normal dose is not more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period (2 tablets at a time, in a 4-6 hour gap)
This sounds like a secret overdose question..
