Fish medicines cause cancer ??!

Question: I read the bottle of medicine that I had to give my sick fish, it said,"This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer." Can this product really give people cancer?? Has anyone else used products like this??

I've heard that before, but there's so many things that people say can cause cancer, and very little proof.
