What was that taste in my mouth?!
Question: last night i was running an erron to walmart to there were this slow truck in front of me so i cautiously went into the right lane, and then noticed that in front of them was a slowwwww mini van..so the truck and i are driving along side of each other with me a little ahead..and all of a sudden the big huge truck starts to speed up and i was thinking no he wouldn't he sees me here he's not going to try to get over..BUT HE DID! and he almost hit me..i was soooo scared to the point where my heart started beating very fast my adrenaline levels were off of the radar AND i had this weird taste come into my mouth..i can't describe the taste..but it was bitter and maybe it tasted like copper...or metal..maybe something like that..and i know that it came about because of my almost accident..what was this taste? how and why did it come from?

It was the taste of secreted endorphins. They are body chemicals produced from the brain into your blood stream that adjust your emotions. You simply got a "blast" because your heart "jumped" too fast and some made their way to the glands in your throat and tongue. Nothing to worry about.
it is the taste you get when your heart jumps into your throat.....praise Jesus you are alive...
sounds like you were tasting blood. it usually tastes like that but i dont know any definate answers about why you tasted it
i have heard the phrase "to taste adrenaline" maybe it means it literally!
