My black lab is in her first heat, could that be the cause for stomach pain?!

Question: my 7month old lab went into heat today and she acts like she has cramps. she is vomiting and has had one watery bowel movement. is there anything anyone can tell me that it may be? it's saturday and our vet is closed. im really worried! please help

Before I found out my chihuahua had Pyometra she was experiencing the same thing as your lab. It wasn't until she began to drip with pus a week later that she actually was confirmed to have Pyometra, though. Sorry if this doesn't help much... but I hope your lab gets better!

That doesn't normally happen, are you sure she didn't get into something or ate something different. Make sure you keep a close eye on her and make sure she at least drinks. Watch if she continues to vomit and have diarreha and if she starts to become lethargic because you should take her to the vet right away. If she continues to eat and drink fine then keep a close eye on her then take her to your vet on Monday.
