Is it possible to survive with one kidney?!

Question: I'm feeling a bit peckish.

Answers: I'm feeling a bit peckish.

I may just be being picky but I think the nutritional value of eating your kidney may not be worth the detrimental effects of removing said kidney from yourself.

Why not have a slab of thigh meat? Or foot from the ankle down? Much less invasive.

Yes, but it works better with mashed potato and veg.

Absolutely. There are many people who get one kidney removed for whatever reason. They would just be watching your kidney functions carefully from then on, because obviously you no longer have a "backup."

Yes, it is possible. Eat one!

Yep, very possible.

yes it is with good medical advice

Goes well with steak in a pie, plus 2 veg and mashed potatoes.
Enjoy your meal !

hope so, my wife donated hers when she died, she also donated her liver. ( i suppose you lot would think of liver and onions} she also donated her eyes.

(If this is a joke it is in very poor taste.)

Many people function perfectly well on one kidney, often being unaware that the other is non-functional.

yes
