Question: my friend caughed up a lot of blood today and then blood came out of her eyes.
she went to hospital and got tests done
blood test, the got a tube put down her throat
geting results on wednesday
what could the results be?
wot would they be?
also y wud they put a tube down her throat?

hey i am not a doctor, so i dont have any very accurate information, but i have a few guesses.
Firstly, i am absolutely sure she will be ok, its great that she went to the hospital because they can help her, and can find out why everything was happening.
I dont know what the results could be, however i know that with many respiratory infections and conditions including pneumonia,you can cough up a lot of blood. Blood can also come out of your eyes with respiratory problems.
The tube down her throat could be a small little camera, which can allow the doctors to see what is happening down there and if there are any lumps or fluid in the airways or in her stomach which should not be there. They may be looking for something in her stomach or airway which caused her to cough up the blood. IT could be a camera, or maybe a form of medicine which is delivered straight into her body.
I completely understand how worried you are for her. Another thing that you can do is go to your doctor and ask him or her what may be happening. When my friend was in hospital i found myself talking to the nurses and doctors all the time,they were able to help me understand what was going on. Talk to the doctors, they can really comfort you.

The only answer i can give you,as hard as it may be to do is,Wait till wednesday till she gets the results and go from there,Just support her and be there for her,There is no point in alot of people giving lots of different answers because it may be nothing at all,Dont stress, just be there,You sound like a very nice friend to have
