How do I stop myself from popping my neck?!

Question: I saw my friend do it one day so I started doing it and now I can't stop.I've gotten to where there is always a pain and when I pop it I get a short relief. One night my friend stayed over at my house and she told me I was popping it in my sleep like every 3 minutes for an hour.I was kinda researching on it and I want my mom to bring me to someone to see if I did any damage...I don't want to paralyze anything...I'm only 13 years old.I'm scared.
