How come if you accidentally get water in your nose, it burns like heck?!

Question: I'm really unsure, but when I get water up my nose, not only does it hurt, but it hurts my throat like I have strep!

because you breath air not water. i'm guessing.

First of all it doesnt, soda does and second of all its becuase you CANT BREATH.If its soda its becuase the salt and sugar going in your nose will make it burn like hell.
