What are some excuses you have given when you play hooky from work?!

-had to let the plumber, electrictian, cable guy etc. in the house
-had to take or pick up my Mother, Father, Grandmother, Sister etc. from the airport
-had a flat tire
The easy one:
1. Get a really pathetic voice and practice talking in it. You want to sound tired and helpless
2. Call and say you're sick while speaking in the helpless voice
Backache or knee pain (caused by work, so how can they question it?)
sick, death in the family,dog ran away,kids are sick,kid broke his arm,etc....
My dog ate it.
dog died, brother or sister died, parents died... etc
