gingivitis is the early stage of gum disease and it is still preventable. taking care of your gums could entail only paying close attention to proper oral hygiene like proper brushing and careful flossing every after meal. this can help remove plaque that get stuck on teeth. having a regular dental check up and regular dental cleanings can make sure that teeth and gums stay healthy. water has a lot of health benefits and this can be advantageous to oral and dental health. make sure that you drink adequate amount of water to be able to keep bad bacteria in the mouth at bay. visit http://www.oramd.com/bleeding-gums.htm

i have the same problem
but my gums bleed alot, they gave me a mouthwash too
but i doubt youll have it for life keep doing what the dentist
tell you too.

goodluck(:

i dont know if it will help any but you could try twice a week at least and brush with salt but i think you could have it for a while at least, and if it doesnt go away im sure your dentist has told you , you may loose half or all your teeth. keep caring for them you may be lucky enough.
