Oily Breasts?!
Question: I noticed last night when I took my bra off to take a shower, my right breast felt oily like I had put lotion on it or something (when I hadn't). What is this?! It feels like baby oil. It's only on my right breast, and not my left.

there are many eccrine glands (sweat glands) on your chest area... but usually sweat isn't oily. UNLESS you recently ate something REALLY greasy, or really oily.
If it was just too oily to have come from your skin, perhaps something was on the bra... maybe you didnt realize you put it on with oily hands or something.. iF thats not the case, then maybe the bra. Any chance it's padded ? is the padding possibly a silicone type substance? could be leaking.
Other than that, I just dont know.. .what a weird thing to have happen!
May I ask if you're pregnant? You see, your sebaceous glands enlarge during pregnancy and secrete an oily substance that provides a protective lubricant for the areola and nipple. This is a natural ocurrance, and has nothing to do with your period. Don't worry my friend.

Was it the whole breast or just one spot? Has it happened again?
I'm no doctor, but it doesn't sound serious, especially if it's a one-time thing. Keep us posted.
