I have a cold- what can i do to relax and make myself better?!


Question: all day i have been lounging around
my nose is stuffed up and runny
and i have a tickle in my throut that makes me cough

all u have to do is rest dont go school relax watch some tv chill out and if the weather is good go outside and get some fresh air good luck babe : )

just lay in your bed and possibly go to sleep.....

I'm just after getting over one myself... I found drinking orange juice and smoothies helped.

well try to take a nap but before you do that drink tea and blow out your nose asmuch as you can!

A hot bath, drink tea, go to the drugstore and talk to the pharmacist.

first, sniff some eucalyptus, it was help unblock your nose
fill your frying pan with spicey stuff like jalepenos hot sauce pepper etc and fry it on a high heat, inhale. you'll cry and cough but it will relieve you, beleive me.
drink some hot water with a spritz of lemon juice and honey, and grated ginger if you have any handy.

go to bed and keep warm!

Get some Robitussin CF (Cold & Cough) at your supermarket/pharmacy. It helped me deal with my hacking cough and my runny nose from 2 weeks ago.

Take tylenol, suck on a jolly rancer or something that you can suck on thats candy, and listen to relaxing music while in bed. As for your nose, use some of those nose spray you put in your nose to clear it up. Hope you feel better!

you could try this homemade tea which is made with a lemon half onion, honey, and cinnamon. Boil everything together and then add honey to the tea, drink it warm. It really works.

As my doctor told me once...never drink cold drinks when you have a cold with a cough...makes it worse.
Try 2Tbsp. of honey and and shake some cinnamon in some warm water.
Drink it right away...do not let it sit and sit....looks different if you let it sit for a while.
do this as many times as you would like.
I made a mixture of honey an cinnamon with no water for my
daughter....she went to sleep very well all night and sounded good the next morning. So either way, use honey and cinnamon at least every 2 hours. Take care
