Nervous about going to Dermatolagist...need motivation. What do they do?!

Nothing to be nervous about! They are just gonna look to see what kind of acne it is and give you something to help it. They see it all the time. In fact they want to see it! thats there job. If you where a car collector and some one was affraid to show you there car wouldn't you think it was silly? same thing. It won't hurt and they will make the acne go away then you don't ever have to be embarrassed again! GOOD LUCK :) you'll do fine
Please try to relax. A dermatologist visit is very similar to going to a regular doctor (without the extra poking, prodding or undressing). He or she will examine your face, take a brief medical history and the discuss a treatment plan (if necessary). It really is an easy process. Good luck!
i went to the dermatologist and it wasn't bad at all!!!! he/she will just look at your face, ask you what you've tried to get rid of your acne and give you some pills....don't take accutane!!! it's really strong and causes depression....
