Stress... is it harmful?!


Question: I have been under a large amount of stress latley well pretty much sense i was 17 so 5 years of stress. I used to beable to cope with it but now sometimes my chest hurts it doesnt hurt to breath just feels like i have pressure on it and sometimes this pain is also felt in my back and it goes into my left arm. I believe its due to stress but i dint know if its harmful or if its just anxity

Yes stress is bad. When you get older you will have a hard time breathing. Specially at nigth!!!

Excessive stress (can) cause weight gain,hair loss, and raising of blood pressure., So yes....

chest pain shortness of breath and sharp pain going into one arm is usually the sign of a stroke, which can happen at any age. i am 33 and have had 2 ministroke, my own doing from eating over the counter diet pills regardless of the fact that im a size o...dont take this lightly please go see your doctor, i was lucky, yours could be anxiety attacts as they mimmic heart attacks but for the sake of your life please see your doctor and rule out the life threatening ones before assuming its nothing to worry about. its your life its worth worrying about.

Stress can be very harmful to your health if you don't cope well. I'd go to my doctor's if I was feeling pain or pressure. I know that it can hard for me to wind down, and not think about things. Left arm pain can sometimes indicate heart trouble (my father-in-law and late brother-in-law - died at 34), and then you add the pressure on your chest. Could that be indigestion? Because they both thought they were suffering that, too. Please see your doctor. You've got me worried now. Hopefully, they can help you with easing the stress, and I hope what you're feeling IS only stress. It sure seems to be taking it's toll on you. Good luck.

Doctors will tell you that stress is the number 1 killer. You have to find ways to release your stress. Take a long bubble bath or a long walk. Maybe do something fun with one of your best friends. I think you should be checked out by your doctor, just to make sure that your heart is healthy. Stress is really bad for you. Be sure you are eating right and getting enough sleep. I have heard that not getting enough sleep is really bad for your health also.

Yes,stress actually causes cancer snd usually you die from it depends on your case so yes its very harmful stress can also lead to other things such as suicide..

Its bcoz ur lungs aren't getting proper oxygen. They aren't xpanding - contracting properly. Whenevr u feel stressed take 20 deep breaths and practicing yoga can do wonders.
