Why do feet cramp after wearing high heals for a day?!

Question: It is not often I wear high heeled shoes (except for my black boots with a 4" heel and quite comfortable).

When my shoes come off at home my feet contort. It is excrutiating!

Thank you for your answer(s)

Feet cramp because they have been forced in to an unnatural angle, which puts pressure on different spots.

It affects your natural balance, puts the ankles, calves, knees and back under a lot of strain, not to mention all the tendons and muscles involved.
It's no wonder our feet hurt after wearing high heels!!

Sounds like you are stretching out your tendon or muscles in your foot.

Because they are being contorted into an unnatural position & are also pushed down by gravity.

I know the feeling!!

because you are putting all this uneven weight on the front of your feet causing pain and then the muscle overcompensates to prevent further damage. it really really sucks but thats the price we pay to have our legs look great in a mini.

The natural bend angle of our leg(considering ankle as an angle point) becomes straight wen u put on high heals, resulting in pain and cramp.

Because it is un-natural to walk like that...but it does make a lady's butt look tighter, most of the time...(some butts cannot be camoflaged)

If there were no high heels, there would be far fewer podiatrists...90+% of all cases treated by foot doctors are ladies who wear high heels.

there are two reasons why we men can feel a bit superior to ladies...one is high heels, the other is the idea that by painting a black circle around your eyelids, you are more attractive...sorry if that is offensive, but I had to say it...
