Too much medication, when is enough enough?!

Question: OK.... I have a combonation of health problems so clearly a combonation of medications.....
asthma 2+ my inhaler
Osteo Arthiritis pain killer & anti inflamitory (try to not take unless really have to)
Diabeties 1 have to take
High Blood Pressure 2 have to take
oh and just like 80% of society I have a happy pill I'm suppose to take too.
then there are like 3 others I often need to take because of side affects from the other medications... when is enough enough & time to say no to some of these medications?!

Yes I know weight loss will help some of these health conditions, so I'm working on that.... no sarcastic answers please.

If you feel you've had enough talk to your doctor about reducing your medications and look at ways to improve using diet, exercise, or other treatments to try to get off some of the meds. Some doctors will be willing to try it but others won't, so you should do some research and find out what you are interested in doing.

how is ur weight?ur asthma and blood pressure can both be both stopped if u lose a little wt depending on the severity of them both.the arthiritis can also be eased with over the counter creams and or a roll on called biofreeze i use it for that and for aches and pains before i take meds.the happy pill people r beginning to find out if they exercise and stay busy they cut back or can stop their happy pills as u call it i was able to.if u need help finding things to ease ur pain or try to get off these meds write back and i willing to help u out good luck

hi, the problem is that diabetes can cause a series of problems like high blood pressure, depression, etc
its better that you are being treated for them, as if you dont take your meds, you could have alot of serious problems
i am studying nursing, and these are the things weve learned abour diabetes.
hope this helps
