Is sleeping with the light on every night unhealthy?!
Question: I would say that it is not a wise idea if you can avoid it, as it might mess up your circadian rythm which affects your sleep wake cycle. You should be exposed to a certain amount of hours of darkness and light, but when this is out of order it could possibly cause a sleep disorder in the future, even jetlag is a problem that is caused by disturbances in the circadian rythm.
Light is used to reset people's biological clock in relation to circadian rythm as a treatment when it is off. So sleeping with the lights on every night may come with consequences in the future, but if you must sleep with them on, i doubt it would be life threatening.
