I reckon you could have a heart attack from the stress of laughing...if you weren't that healthy.
The effects of tickling too much...a heavy punch in the stomach when you finally stop I should imagine lol.

I have never heard of anyone dying of laughter. As far as the effects of tickling too much, since I was the smallest one in the family my brothers and sister was always tickling me. Everywhere, my feet, my sides, neck, belly, and I would beg for them to stop but they didn't for so very long. Now I am a grown woman and I am not ticklish anywhere. Not my feet, belly, neck,sides, nowhere. My husband hates that he can't tickle me but I just had it so much as a child I am no longer ticklish.
It would need to be a really funny joke.....so that would rule out Ricky Gervais!
