have you been subjected to loud noises or sudden changes in air pressure? that might be the cause.
i would be afraided. Are you sure it is blood or just a big nasty dark goop of wax? I would definitely put a q tip up in there and dab around. Maybe the wax just ripped a bit of skin off?
