Can people really kill themselves by . .?!
Question: mixing drugs or overdosing pills. It makes me cringe when I hear stories about people mixing drugs or overdosing pills. Do they get addicted it the feeling ? If so, what's the feeling ? I mean it's just pain-killers or sleeping pills. When I take them for my headaches I don't really feel anything. . . but my headache is gone !

When I was addicted to OxyContin, I would take around 240mg/day. Thats roughly 48 Vicodin ES (Hydrocodone). As for sleeping pills? I could blow through a 120 count of Ambien in 2-3 days. So yes, people get addicted and doses escalate. It is more than possible to overdose and die, I've been hospitalized for overdoses 3 times, and the last time my heart rhythm became altered and required serious cardiac meds to keep it beating.
you dont feel anything else because you are taking a normal doze, if you double it you'll be with the stars.
