Can I call myself ambidextrous?!

Question: I write with my left hand but eat with my right, I throw and catch with my right hand, sometimes though I get better results throwing stuff if my left hand. I cannot write with my right hand at least not as well but I can eat with my left. I think my right arm is stronger than my left arm. Just how agile with both hands must I be to call myself ambidextrous?

Well, the definition of ambidextrous is "Able to use both hands with equal facility." So while you have abilities in both right and left, it doesn't sound as though those abilities are equal in both right and left. Therefore you do not meet the definition.

I'm pretty much the same exact way except my right hand is dominant.

I think you and me definatley have a degree of ambidexterity, but not true ambidexterity.

Yes you are. Keep practising with both hands. Try writing the alphabet with each hand. XXOO!

No, you aren't. Keep practicing, though. Maybe you could be.

*** You're left hand is better. You're dominant hand is determined by the hand you write with. You aren't ambidextrous.

Sorry I don't know what that means
