It would only cause harm if ingested, which would involve eating or licking it.

The biggest risk to your health would be in removing it without the proper tools and protection. If you use abrasives you have a good chance in inhaling the dust, which would be nasty. I suggest you seek advice from a specialist.

I

could be affecting you slowly but surely but not drastically. hmm...i know lead pipes were banned.

limited unless you were in regular contact with eating the wallpaper

Its only harmful if you eat or lick it! Thats why lead paint is banned on childrens toys.

probably not at all - since it was under layers of wallpaper.

the concern in houses was that young children might eat or lick the paint, particular at young ages where their brain development was at risk.

unless you've been breathing in it's dust [which you probably having since there's about 100 layers of wallpaper in front of it], eating it, or getting it in your pores and/or blood stream, it won't effect you.
you're fine, but i would paint over it or something.

Its only bad if you touch it or diguest it. I'm sending you a link about how to remove lead paint. Its very important, specailly if you have small children. Good luck.

Just seal it with P.V.A then that will stop it, it`s only poison`es if swallowed.

probably didn't hurt much more than the crap we eat on a daily basis -(McDonald's etc) - but you do need to research on how to get it out of your house - don't just scrape it off - it will make millions of little particles of it go airborne and you will breathe it in etc.....your supposed to have some sort of a respirator or something over your face and I feel sure there is other PPE you are supposed to wear to get this stuff out of your home.

It really won't affect your health unless you eat it or it somehow magically sublimates. If you have children you may consider removing it (as some children eat anything and may peel the paint and wallpaper) but if this is not the case I wouldn't worry about it. Having it removed will create a lot of dust (with lead) that could prove to be more harmful than it is in its current state. So if it is really bothering you and it is sealed by the wall paper it really shouldn't have adverse affects on your health.

Ask some person who knows for certain sweetheart.

no problems
wear a mask if your drilling, but undisturbed the lead is fine, disturb it and you have trouble
