Unless it's for a serious medical condition or something, I'm against it. People should love and be happy with the body they are born with. Yup O_o.
i agree with you if you want people to accept you you have to accept yourself first
sometimes they are needed like with Breast Cancer patients, or severe burns

In the case of our appearance, not everybody's desire for surgery hinges on vanity. Some are deeply traumatized by imperfections and defects that are hidden from the public eye.
I think at the very least reconstructive surgery is wonderful.
For some people, some cosmetic surgery is necessary. I think it is something you have to accept for yourself, or you just don't do it. I know a couple people who have had surgery to remove excess skin once they lost a lot of weight, but the insurance company called that cosmetic and wouldn't cover the surgery, even though having 13 pounds of excess skin can be a health hazard. For me, a breast reduction is needed so that I can do more than just walk for an exercise, and I could relieve my neck and back pain, and not have trouble breathing from the weight. It is a personal choice that everyone has to make on their own. It has nothing to do with confidence or my self esteem...it is all for my health.
i totally agree with you but some ppl are just really stupid and would rather die than except themselves
I don't disagree or agree to it, its an individual process..vanity is a big deal to alot of people, the want to look younger or to minimize or enhance breasts due to dis/advantages! Medical reasons are there too, it has to be done to improve quality of live or to extend life..how can we judge..??
i agree with plastic surgery since it helps people who had body image disturbances..it boost their confidence so that they can socialize with other people well.
