I am cold all the time.?!
Question: I've been checked for anemia, and i'm not anemic. Right now, i'm sitting in my office with a room heater on high, wrapped in a blanket. Could it be because I have abnormally low bloodpressure?

I am the same way..I was told it is due to my extremely high intake of caffenie which affects the bloodflow throughout your body. Your hands and feet are always always cold even when wrapped. I use to even sleep with an electric blanket on high at night in mid summer when its 120 outside. I stopped all caffenie intake and about 4 months later. I no longer had the issue.
yes, that would be the best explaination. i also have low blood pressure, my toes nad fingers are cold all the time.

Low blood pressure can be a cause " (medication may help), there may be other causes though like some meds, preservatives, stress, malnutrition, lack of body fat, smoking.
[My wife is always cold (because she stresses and worries over everything, the stress halts the proper blood flow) except when she is totally relaxed or asleep.]
A complete blood workup may be beneficial. If a regular MD can't find the real cause, check out a good (check around) licensed homeopathic physician. It may be nothing to worry about but it could be a sign of a major problem. Bottom line is, there is a circulatory problem most likely with the blood flow. Better be safe and find out why you are cold and then get help from a professional (MD, Homeopathic, psychologist, Jack Daniels) to warm up. (unless you like the cold). Good luck.
